Tridacnid maxima clam

Just picked up this aquacultured Tridacnid maxima clam around 7pm, on 6/3/05. The picture was taken about two hours after being in my tank, right before lights out. Only one-third of the tanks lights were on, so the picture is a little off, but I'll post a better picture in a few days. The clam itself is probably 2" long maximum, so it's still a baby. This is a macro shot taken with an Olympus D-460 digital camera, no flash. The tank was illuminated using it's own light source, and there was a light source outside the tank as well.
